Mahindra BE.06 Formula E Edition: Bookings Open January 14 for Only 999 Units

Mahindra has confirmed the full booking and delivery timeline for the BE.06 Formula E Edition in India. This special version of the BE.06 will be produced in a very small batch of only 999 units, making it one of Mahindra’s rarest electric models yet. The company is positioning this edition as a tribute to its continued involvement in the Gen 4 era of Formula E racing. With the announcement now official, interest around this limited release has grown quickly as buyers look to secure one of the few units available.

Mahindra has priced the FE2 variant at Rs 23.69 lakh and the FE3 variant at Rs 24.49 lakh ex showroom. Both versions share the same mechanical setup but differ in features and interior details. The company will follow a phased rollout plan to manage demand. Buyers will first get access to an online add to cart stage in mid December 2025. This step lets interested customers pick their preferred configuration before bookings officially open. The formal reservation window will start on January 14, 2026. Mahindra has not yet revealed the booking amount or the refund rules. Deliveries will begin exactly a month later on February 14, 2026.

The BE.06 Formula E Edition gets several design upgrades to highlight the motorsport theme. The exterior carries a bold Formula E inspired livery across the bonnet, doors and fenders. FIA branding, bright graphics and sporty detailing help the SUV stand out instantly. It rides on large R20 alloy wheels and comes with LED DRLs, circular projector headlamps and a clean fixed glass roof that lifts the overall look. These touches make the Formula E Edition feel more exclusive than the regular version.

The cabin keeps the motorsport theme but in a more refined way. The dashboard has two 12.3 inch displays that run Mahindra’s latest software. Features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Dolby Atmos audio, OTT app support and voice control through Amazon Alexa. The FE3 trim gets special animations and small interior elements inspired by Formula E, giving it a bit more character. The layout is clean and tech heavy, aimed at buyers who enjoy modern interfaces and premium features.

The limited edition keeps the same powertrain as the standard BE.06. It uses a 210 kW electric motor that produces 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. This setup gives the SUV quick acceleration and strong highway performance. A 79 kWh battery powers the motor and supports 180 kW DC fast charging. Under ideal conditions, the battery can charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in about 20 minutes. Along with the performance hardware, the BE.06 Formula E Edition comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS, six airbags, a 360 degree camera system and a practical frunk that can store smaller items.
