Both e-scooters are offered with benefits of up to Rs 20,000. This includes credit card discounts, flat cash offers and extended components warranty.
What Is The PM E-Drive Scheme
The PM E-Drive Scheme is a government programme aimed at higher adoption of electric vehicles. It provides subsidies and incentives to buyers of electric vehicles. The scheme replaced the FAME scheme and started on October 1, 2024.
The government gave Rs 10,900 crores budget for this scheme. It is run under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. The scheme gives upfront incentives to buyers of electric vehicles, which reduces the overall cost of buying an EV.
