Limited Edition Suzuki Katana Revealed for Germany, Only 45 Units Available

Suzuki Katana has received a new limited edition version for the German market. Suzuki has introduced the Katana LE (Limited Edition), and production will be extremely limited. Only 45 motorcycles will be built, making it one of the rarest versions of the modern Katana. Suzuki has added unique styling elements and a few special accessories to make the limited edition stand out from the standard Katana. However, the core mechanical setup remains mostly unchanged.

Engine and Performance

The Katana LE uses the same 999cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine derived from Suzuki’s famous K5 motor. This engine produces 152 horsepower and 106 Nm of torque.

Suzuki has not made any changes to the engine output, so the performance remains identical to the standard Katana.

Special Design and Styling

The Suzuki Katana LE features a distinctive look that separates it from the regular model. The motorcycle comes with silver bodywork paired with bronze-colored wheels, which creates a bold and premium appearance.

Suzuki has also given the tail section a black finish, replacing the body-colored tail seen on the standard Katana. This contrast highlights the sharp lines of the bike’s design.

To make the limited edition more exclusive, Suzuki includes several special elements. Each motorcycle gets a numbered sticker showing the unit number, which confirms its rarity. The bike also comes with frame sliders for protection and a carbon-look tank pad that adds a sporty touch.

Buyers will also receive a garage mat with the Katana logo and a special book that tells the story of the Katana from its early years to today.

Akrapovic Exhaust Upgrade

The only mechanical upgrade on the Katana LE is an Akrapovic slip-on exhaust. This exhaust is road legal and improves the sound of the motorcycle compared to the stock exhaust.

However, Suzuki says the new exhaust does not increase power or performance. It mainly improves sound and visual appeal.

Price and Availability

Suzuki has priced the Katana Limited Edition at €15,045, which is around Rs 16.11 lakh. The standard Katana costs €14,400 (around Rs 15.41 lakh).

This means the limited edition model costs about Rs 70,000 more than the standard version. However, with only 45 units available in Germany, the Katana LE will be much rarer and more collectible.

Chassis and Electronics

Suzuki has kept the same chassis, suspension, braking system, and electronics package as the standard Katana. This means the riding experience and handling remain unchanged.
