2025 Hyundai Venue to Debut on November 4 — Features Shared with Creta
Hyundai’s 2025 Venue brings premium features from the Creta, including a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, and an 8-speaker Bose sound system.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is preparing to launch the new-generation Venue on November 4. This updated compact SUV will feature a new design, a redesigned interior, and several new features. It is expected that the 2025 Venue will include many features already found in the larger Creta and Alcazar models.
1. Panoramic Sunroof
The new Venue will likely include a panoramic sunroof in its top-level trims. This feature is already available in competing models such as the Mahindra XUV3XO, Kia Syros, and Tata Nexon. Adding a panoramic sunroof will make the new Venue more competitive in its segment.
2. Level-2 ADAS
The current Venue model has a Level-1 Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS). The new version will be upgraded to a Level-2 system. This is the same ADAS technology used in the Creta and Alcazar, although there might be some differences in the specific features offered.
3. Dual-Connected Displays
Recent images have shown the new Venue with a dual-connected display setup. The Creta and Alcazar already have dual 10.25-inch screens. The new Venue might even feature a 12.3-inch display setup, which was first introduced in the Kia Syros.
4. Ventilated Seats
The new Venue is expected to have ventilated front seats. Some reports suggest that it might also offer ventilated rear seats. In the compact SUV segment, this feature is currently only available in the Kia Syros.
5. Dual-Zone Climate Control
The dual-zone climate control system from the Creta and Alcazar may be included in the new Venue. In the compact SUV market, the Mahindra XUV3XO and Kia Syros already offer this feature.
6. Electrically Adjustable Co-Driver Seat
The current Venue has a powered driver’s seat. The new model is expected to add a powered co-driver seat. This feature is already available in the Creta and Alcazar. The Skoda Kylaq also offers powered front seats in its top-spec model.
7. 360-Degree Parking Camera
A 360-degree parking camera is becoming a common feature in the compact SUV segment. The new Venue will likely include this feature to match its competitors, such as the Mahindra XUV3XO, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Kia Sonet.
8. Front Parking Sensors
Early images of the new Venue showed front parking sensors. This feature is expected to be included, which will help with parking in tight spaces.
9. Electronic Parking Brake
The new Venue may also get an electronic parking brake, a feature from the Creta and Alcazar. This will likely be available only in the top-level trims. The Mahindra XUV3XO and Kia Syros already have this feature.
10. 8-Speaker Bose Sound System
The 8-speaker Bose sound system found in the Alcazar and Creta could be included in the new Venue. Branded audio systems are becoming more common in this segment as they improve the in-cabin experience.
Market Analysis:
Hyundai's strategy of sharing features from its larger models like the Creta down to the new Venue is a common practice in the automotive industry. This approach, known as platform or component sharing, helps carmakers reduce development costs and bring new models to market faster. For consumers, it means that premium features once found only in more expensive vehicles are becoming available in smaller, more affordable segments. The inclusion of features like a panoramic sunroof, Level-2 ADAS, and ventilated seats in the new Venue will make it a more competitive product. This trend forces other manufacturers to also upgrade their offerings, leading to more feature-rich vehicles across the board. As a result, buyers get more value for their money, with access to advanced technology and comfort features that improve the overall driving experience. This strategy helps Hyundai maintain a strong position in the highly competitive compact SUV market.
