2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Gets With LED Headlamp, Price Hiked By Rs 8,000
The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F gets a new LED headlamp, and an Rs 8,000 price increase.
Introduction
Bajaj Auto has updated the Pulsar 220F with a new LED headlamp and a price increase of Rs 8,000 in India. The 2026 model now costs Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is one of the major update for the bike since it was launched in 2007. While the lights are new, the engine and other features stay the same as the previous version which cost Rs 1.28 lakh.
New Lighting and Colors
The older halogen headlamp has been replaced with a new LED unit featuring integrated LED daytime running lights. Bajaj had already updated the bike in late 2025 with new paint, refreshed graphics, and LED turn signals. Now, the company has replaced the Green Light Copper color with a new Black Gold option. You can still choose from other colors like Black Cherry Red, Black Ink Blue, and Black Copper Beige.
Engine and Performance
The bike still uses the same 220cc Twin Spark DTS-i engine that produces 20.6 bhp and 18.5 Nm of torque. It has a five-speed gearbox and a single-channel ABS for safety. However, Bajaj has continued with a single-channel ABS setup.

- Turn-by-turn navigation through the Ride Connect app

More Pulsar Models Coming
Bajaj MD Rajiv Bajaj said the company plans to launch many new Pulsar bikes soon, including the Pulsar N125. Recently, the company also launched a new version of the Pulsar N160. That bike has golden front forks, a slipper clutch, an LED projector headlamp, and a single seat. It costs Rs 1.22 lakh and only comes in a Racing Red color. The N160 sits between the N125 and the N250 in the Bajaj lineup.
The Pulsar 220F has been a favorite for many riders for nearly 19 years. These updates help keep the Pulsar 220F relevant while retaining the character that has made it popular for nearly two decades.
