Bullet 350 Leads Royal Enfield’s Record Sales in September 2025

Royal Enfield Sales Surge 43% in September 2025: Bullet and Himalayan Double Up

Royal Enfield achieved a major milestone in September 2025, recording its highest-ever monthly sales. The company sold 1,24,328 motorcycles, up by a remarkable 43 percent compared to 86,978 units in September 2024. Domestic sales stood at 1,13,573 units, while exports added another 10,755 units. The strong showing came right as the GST 2.0 tax cuts took effect and festive season demand reached its peak.

Classic 350 Still King, But Bullet 350 Steals the Show

The Classic 350 continued to lead Royal Enfield’s lineup with 40,449 units sold, a steady 22.33 percent increase year-on-year. Its balance of traditional design, a smooth J-series engine, and accessible pricing between Rs 1.93 and 2.30 lakh keeps it the brand’s most trusted model. The recent Goan Classic edition, inspired by coastal styling, added freshness to the lineup while keeping the familiar retro charm.

However, the biggest story of the month was the Bullet 350. Its sales more than doubled to 25,915 units, showing an incredible 100.88 percent growth over the same month last year. The updated Bullet 350 now runs on the refined J-series engine, delivering 20.2 horsepower and 27 Nm of torque. The engine’s smoother power delivery and better reliability have made the new Bullet the perfect mix of old-school appeal and modern comfort. Buyers clearly appreciated this balance, driving demand across all regions.

Hunter 350

The Hunter 350 came next with 21,801 units sold, marking 25.25 percent growth. It continues to be the go-to Royal Enfield for younger riders moving up from smaller bikes. With prices starting around Rs 1.50 lakh and a lighter 181 kg body, it offers the classic Enfield feel in a friendlier package. The Hunter’s modern styling and easy handling make it popular in cities and among first-time Enfield owners.

Meteor 350 Cruiser Rides Higher

The Meteor 350 also saw impressive demand, selling 14,435 units for a 66.59 percent increase. The updated Meteor, launched last month, comes with improved ergonomics and new features that have made it more comfortable for long rides. The cruiser’s relaxed seating and highway-friendly nature make it a favorite among riders looking for weekend getaways.

Himalayan 452

The all-new Himalayan showed massive growth, selling 3,939 units in September — up 117.14 percent year-on-year. Royal Enfield’s decision to redesign the Himalayan completely has paid off. The new 452cc liquid-cooled engine, with 40 horsepower and improved suspension, has transformed it into a serious adventure tourer. Riders who once saw it as rugged but limited now view it as a real rival to bikes like the BMW G 310 GS and KTM 390 Adventure.

650cc Lineup Holds Strong

Royal Enfield’s premium 650cc range continued to perform well, with the Interceptor and Continental GT together selling 3,856 units — a 34.4 percent gain. The Super Meteor 650 added 1,101 units, rising 60.73 percent year-on-year. Despite its higher price tag of Rs 3.85–4.08 lakh, demand remains steady. With the larger 750cc Interceptor and GT expected to debut at MotoVerse in November, Royal Enfield seems ready to move further up the premium ladder.

Here is a table showing the sales breakdown:

CEO’s Outlook

Royal Enfield CEO B. Govindarajan credited the company’s performance to strong festive planning and the timely GST 2.0 reduction, which lowered tax rates from 28 to 18 percent for bikes under 350cc. Between April and September 2025, the brand sold 5,91,903 motorcycles, a 30 percent rise compared to last year.

The coming months will reveal whether this momentum continues once festive offers end. For now, Royal Enfield’s approach — modernizing its bikes while keeping their classic character — has clearly struck the right chord with Indian riders. The company’s blend of tradition, trust, and innovation continues to drive its success both at home and abroad.
