Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition Launched in India
Toyota Launches Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition with Sporty New Styling Kit Worth Rs. 31,999
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched a special version of its Urban Cruiser Hyryder, called the Aero Edition, in India. This new styling package aims to attract more customers during the festive season. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder has already proven successful for Toyota, largely because it offers many choices, including strong hybrid, mild hybrid, and CNG options. This broad appeal has made it a popular choice among buyers looking for a versatile midsize SUV.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition introduces an exclusive styling kit that can be added to all existing Hyryder models. Key features of this kit include a sporty front spoiler, which gives the SUV a more aggressive look, and a sculpted rear spoiler that adds to its aerodynamic appearance. Additionally, flowing side skirts create a lower profile when viewed from certain angles, enhancing the vehicle’s overall visual appeal. These carefully designed accessories work together to give the Hyryder Aero Edition a distinct and dynamic presence on the road, setting it apart from the standard models.
These new accessories are available at an extra cost of Rs. 31,999 and can be purchased at Toyota dealerships across the country. Customers have the option to choose this special edition in four different colors: White, Silver, Black, and Red, allowing for some personalization. It is important to note that the Aero Edition styling kit is compatible with every variant of the existing Hyryder lineup, ensuring that a wide range of buyers can upgrade their vehicle with these distinctive enhancements. This flexibility makes the Aero Edition accessible to many Hyryder owners, regardless of their chosen model.
Since its first appearance in 2022, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has achieved significant success, recently surpassing the milestone of 1.68 lakh units sold. Under the hood, the Hyryder continues to offer Toyota’s advanced self-charging strong hybrid electric powertrain, alongside the Neo Drive petrol variant. The hybrid model combines petrol and electric power to deliver smooth and quiet performance, capable of covering up to 40% of the distance purely on electric energy, while also boasting a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.97 kmpl. This impressive combination of power options and efficiency makes the Hyryder a compelling choice for environmentally conscious drivers and those seeking lower running costs.
Buyers of the Neo Drive version can choose a 1.5-liter K-series engine, which comes with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission, offering both 2WD and 4WD options for varied driving needs. The five-seater SUV’s exterior design is further enhanced by an acrylic grille, twin LED daytime running lights, sculpted body lines, and stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, occupants will find comfortable ventilated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof that adds to the spacious feel, a 9-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and a 360-degree camera system, all contributing to a modern and connected driving experience.
Additional interior features include rear recline seats, rear AC vents for improved comfort, and a flexible 60:40 split rear seat, providing practical storage solutions. Toyota also offers 66 optional accessories, allowing owners to further customize their vehicle. The standard warranty covers 3 years or 1 lakh km, with an option to extend it to 5 years or 2.2 lakh km, providing long-term peace of mind. Furthermore, the hybrid battery comes with an 8-year or 1.6 lakh km warranty, highlighting Toyota’s confidence in its hybrid technology. The standard Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder starts at Rs. 10.94 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an accessible option in its segment.
