TVS-Owned Norton to Launch 4 New Motorcycles at EICMA 2025

Norton Motorcycles Unveils 4 New Bikes at EICMA 2025 Under TVS Ownership

Norton Motorcycles, the British company now owned by TVS, is ready to reveal a new line-up of four motorcycles at the EICMA 2025 show. With these new models, the company will enter new markets in Europe, Asia, and the USA. TVS is aiming to bring the historic British brand back to a strong position with this refreshed product range.

The company has confirmed that one of the four new motorcycles will be a middle-weight adventure bike. This new adventure model is designed to change the mid-capacity segment. It will focus on the rider's experience, mixing everyday use with the classic Norton feel. This adventure bike will be called the Atlas. The Atlas name was used before for a 650cc scrambler concept that never went into full production.

The top model in the new Norton line-up will be a V4-powered superbike. This superbike will be available in two versions. The names for these two V4 superbikes will be Manx and Manx R. The 'R' version will likely be the track-focused racing model. Norton is targeting a power-to-weight ratio of less than one kilogram per horsepower for its top-spec V4 motorcycles.

Details about the fourth motorcycle are not fully clear yet. It is expected to be a neo-retro roadster. Norton has always been active in the modern classic motorcycle segment. This type of bike is very popular around the world and in markets like India. The production of this new range of motorcycles has already started at Norton's headquarters in Solihull. Norton will officially show these new bikes on November 4 at EICMA 2025.

Author's Take

TVS's investment in Norton has been a major gamble aimed at breathing new life into the brand. Launching four new models all at once shows a real intent to take on key markets. The new V4 superbike, likely a successor to the V4SV, will be head to head with the Ducati Panigale V4 and Aprilia RSV4 and other top flight high-performance rivals. If Norton can indeed get the power-to-weight ratio down to under a kilogram per horsepower then they will have a real game-changer on their hands and re-establish themselves in the high end sports bike market.

The new Atlas adventure bike is going to have to carry more of the load than the other models. It will be hitting the very competitive middle weight bracket where bikes like the Triumph Tiger 900 and the KTM 890 Adventure are already very well established. and Norton is going to have to get this one right - the balance between off road capabilities, on road comfort and pricing will be the key to the success of the Atlas. The expected neo-retro roadster will also be going up against some big hitters like the Triumph Bonneville and Ducati Scrambler. For Norton to stand out from the crowd they really need to lean on their British heritage and the manufacturing expertise that comes with being part of the TVS family and create something genuinely unique & reliable. This multi-model launch is a high stakes gamble that if it pays off could bring Norton back as a major global motorcycle brand - and that would have a massive impact on the premium motorcycle market.
