Yamaha XSR 155 Scrambler, Cafe Racer Accessory Kit Prices Revealed

Yamaha XSR 155 Accessory Kits Priced: Scrambler and Cafe Racer Options

Yamaha has launched the XSR 155 in India and has also introduced two factory-developed accessory kits for buyers to personalize the neo-retro motorcycle. These kits, named Scrambler and Cafe Racer, are engineered to fit the bike’s Deltabox frame without compromising the warranty or reliability.

Scrambler and Cafe Racer Kit Details

The Scrambler kit is priced at Rs 12,330 and it gives the XSR 155 a more tracker-inspired look. It includes a new seat cover, tank pads, black bar-end mirrors, a black fly screen, a headlight cover, and numbered side plates. Practical additions like a radiator guard and a redesigned license plate holder complete the Scram package.

The Cafe Racer kit is priced slightly lower at Rs 11,915. This kit focuses on a sharper, retro-sport look. Key components include a stepped seat that reshapes the entire rear silhouette and a headlight cowl that delivers the classic cafe racer expression. The pack gains sleeker side panels instead of the Scram’s number boards, along with a radiator guard.

It is important to note that both accessory kits are sold as complete packages, meaning individual elements are not sold separately.

Accessory Kit Pricing Summary

Scrambler Kit ₹12,330 ₹1,62,330 Tracker-inspired, rougher surfaces
Cafe Racer Kit ₹11,915 ₹1,61,915 Retro-sport, classic cafe racer look
Base XSR 155 Price ₹1,50,000

Shared Mechanical Foundation

The XSR 155 maintains its strong mechanical foundation. It is powered by a 155 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), producing 18.1 bhp and 14.2 Nm of torque. The bike features USD forks at the front, a monoshock at the rear, and is equipped with dual-channel ABS and traction control as standard. This mechanical formula is already trusted by buyers from the R15 and MT-15.

The pricing of the Scrambler and Cafe Racer kits, which add about Rs 12,000 to the base price of Rs 1.50 lakh, positions the fully accessorized XSR 155 at a premium. This shows Yamaha is prioritizing factory-backed customization over a lower entry price. While the kits offer a clean, warranty-safe way to personalize the bike, the total cost of over Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom) puts the XSR 155 firmly in the territory of higher-capacity rivals like the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin, even after their own customization options are considered. The kits are engineered to a high standard, which justifies the cost, but the decision to sell them only as complete packages limits consumer choice. This strategy aims to create distinct, high-margin variants, but it may deter buyers who only want one or two specific parts, pushing them toward the aftermarket.
