Jawa has unveiled a fresh colour variant of its 42 motorcycle in India. The Ivory-finished model carries a price tag of Rs. 1,84,950 (ex-showroom New Delhi). This soft pastel tone reflects a growing preference for calmer and minimalist shades in the motorcycle market.

The bike retains the classic vintage-inspired look that defines the Jawa 42 series. Beneath this timeless exterior sits a 294 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder J-Panther engine that generates 27.32 PS of maximum power and 26.84 Nm of peak torque.

Engine And Transmission Details

The engine is paired with a six-speed transmission. Riders benefit from a slipper and assist clutch for smoother gear changes, and the combination delivers reliable performance for everyday riding.

Design And Styling Elements

The motorcycle draws inspiration from classic track machines, particularly racers from the golden era of Isle of Man TT racing. Retro-style decals adorn the bodywork, while a chequered graphic decorates the sculpted fuel tank. An asymmetrical instrument cluster completes the vintage-inspired aesthetic.

Contrasting "42" graphics appear on the body panels and the headlamp nacelle, while stylised lettering runs along the tank and tail sections.
