Bajaj Auto Sales Feb 2026: 4.48 Lakh Vehicles Sold with 27% Growth

Bajaj Auto sold 4.48 lakh vehicles in Feb 2026 with 27% growth driven by strong motorcycle and three-wheeler demand worldwide.

Bajaj Auto had a very good month in February 2026, when the company sold 4,48,259 bikes and vehicles. This is much higher than the sales in February last year, when the company sold 3,52,071 units. The 27 percent increase reflects strong demand for Bajaj bikes and vehicles.

Two-Wheelers Are the Main Business

Two-wheelers, including motorcycles and scooters, are the most important part of Bajaj's business and make up most of the company's total sales. In February 2026, Bajaj sold 3,79,921 two-wheelers, compared to 2,99,418 two-wheelers sold in February 2025. The 27 percent growth highlights rising demand for Bajaj bikes and scooters.

Inside India, Bajaj sold 1,86,164 two-wheelers in February 2026, compared to 1,46,138 units sold in the same month last year. This is an increase of about 40,000 additional buyers in the domestic market.

At the same time, Bajaj also exported a large number of two-wheelers. The company shipped 1,93,757 units to regions such as Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and South and Southeast Asia, compared to 1,53,280 units exported in February 2025.

Growing in Other Countries

The 26 percent increase in exports highlights growing demand for Bajaj motorcycles in international markets. Customers in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and South and Southeast Asia continue to choose Bajaj bikes because of their reliability and competitive pricing.

This international growth is important for the company as it expands its presence beyond India and strengthens its position in global markets.

Commercial Vehicles Are Also Doing Well

Commercial vehicles, including trucks and three-wheelers used for business, also recorded strong sales in February 2026. Bajaj sold 68,338 commercial vehicles, compared to 52,653 units sold in February 2025. This represents a 30 percent increase.

Within India, Bajaj sold 46,417 commercial vehicles during the month. The company also exported 21,921 units to other countries, marking a 43 percent jump compared to last year.

When domestic and export numbers are combined, Bajaj continues to record strong performance in the commercial vehicle segment.

Total Sales for February

When all motorcycles, scooters, and commercial vehicles are combined, Bajaj sold 2,32,581 units in India in February 2026 compared to 1,83,415 units in February 2025. Domestic sales therefore increased by around 49,000 units.

At the same time, Bajaj exported 2,15,678 vehicles to international markets, representing a 28 percent year-on-year increase. Both domestic and export markets contributed to the company’s strong monthly performance.

The Full Year Numbers

Between April 2025 and February 2026, Bajaj sold 46,72,290 vehicles, compared to 42,81,143 units during the same period in the previous year. This represents a 9 percent increase.

Out of this total, two-wheelers accounted for 39,36,377 units, while commercial vehicles contributed 7,35,913 units. Two-wheelers therefore remain the largest part of Bajaj’s business, although commercial vehicles also contribute significantly.

Exports remained strong throughout the year. Commercial vehicle exports increased 52 percent between April and February, while overall exports grew 21 percent, highlighting the importance of global markets for Bajaj’s growth.

New Bikes Coming Soon

Bajaj is planning several updates for its motorcycle lineup in the coming months. The KTM 390 range, along with Bajaj’s Dominar 400 and NS 400Z, may receive smaller engines to take advantage of the GST 2.0 tax structure.

Smaller engines attract lower taxes, which can help reduce the final price of these motorcycles. However, the company has not yet announced official launch timelines for these updated models.

The Pulsar range, which remains very popular in India, is also expected to receive a major update by the middle of this year as Bajaj continues strengthening the brand.

At the same time, Triumph is expected to introduce a smaller version of its 400 cc motorcycle for India in the coming months. This version could be priced lower and may attract more Indian buyers.

Why Bajaj Is So Successful

Bajaj continues to perform well because customers trust the brand and value its motorcycles and vehicles. The company focuses on producing products that are affordable, reliable, and practical, which appeals to many buyers.

The strong sales numbers highlight steady growth, with Bajaj selling more motorcycles in February 2026 compared to February 2025 while also expanding exports to international markets.

Commercial vehicle sales also remain strong, which means Bajaj operates successfully in more than one vehicle segment.
