Mahindra Hits 600 EV Deliveries in a Single Day with XEV 9e, BE 6 and XEV 9S

Mahindra & Mahindra has delivered more than 600 born-electric SUVs in India in a single day. This milestone comes during the festive season, when demand is usually high due to occasions like Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Navreh, and Navratri. The strong numbers show growing interest in Mahindra’s electric SUV lineup, which includes the XEV 9e, BE 6, and XEV 9s.

Mahindra XEV 9e: Premium Coupe-SUV

The XEV 9e is designed as a premium electric coupe-SUV. It is built on the INGLO platform and comes with two battery options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh.

The smaller battery produces 231 hp, while the larger one delivers 286 hp. Both versions produce 380 Nm of torque. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.8 seconds.

Mahindra claims a range of 542 km for the 59 kWh version and up to 656 km for the 79 kWh version. Inside, it features three 12.3-inch displays and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. It also offers a 663-liter boot, a 150-liter frunk, and 207 mm ground clearance.

Mahindra BE 6: Sporty Electric SUV

The BE 6 focuses more on performance and driving feel. It also uses the INGLO platform and comes with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery options.

Both versions produce 380 Nm of torque. The SUV can go from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 202 kmph. The larger battery offers a claimed range of up to 682 km.

It supports 175 kW DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 20 to 80 percent in about 20 minutes.

Mahindra XEV 9S: Three-Row Electric SUV

The XEV 9S is a three-row electric SUV with more space than the XEV 9e. It comes with three battery options: 59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh.

It is available in variants like Pack One Above, Pack Two Above, Pack Three Above, and Pack Three Above+. Buyers can choose from six colors: Everest White, Ruby Velvet, Stealth Black, Desert Myst, Nebula Blue, and Midnight Black.

With the third row folded, boot space is 527 liters, and the frunk adds 150 liters. Prices range from Rs. 19.95 lakh to Rs. 29.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The claimed range is between 521 km and 679 km, while real-world range is around 500 km.

INGLO Platform and Sales Growth

All these models are based on Mahindra’s INGLO skateboard platform. Together, these electric vehicles have crossed 41,000 units in sales within 10 months. The XEV 9S was introduced in late November 2025 and adds to this growing lineup.
