Toyota records 34,034 sales in Feb 2026 with rising exports and strong demand for SUVs like Hyryder and Innova.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor continued its steady run in India during February 2026. The company reported total sales of 34,034 vehicles for the month. This figure includes cars sold inside India along with units shipped to global markets. Compared to February last year, Toyota managed around 20 percent growth which shows that demand for its lineup remains stable even as competition increases across segments.

Indian Buyers Continue Supporting Toyota Sales

A large share of Toyota’s monthly numbers came from the domestic market. The company sold 30,737 vehicles across India during February. Sales improvement remained gradual rather than sudden which suggests consistent customer demand instead of short-term buying trends.

Toyota cars are still preferred by buyers who want long ownership life and predictable running costs. Models spread across hatchback, MPV and SUV categories helped maintain this balance.

Export Business Shows Noticeable Improvement

Another important contributor this month was exports. Toyota shipped 3,297 vehicles from India to overseas markets. Export volumes were much lower during the same period last year which shows strong improvement this time.

Indian manufacturing facilities are now playing a bigger role in Toyota’s global supply chain where locally built vehicles are being sent to multiple regions.

Early 2026 Sales Momentum Looks Positive

Sales performance during the first two months of 2026 also reflects steady momentum. Between January and February combined sales crossed 67,900 units which is higher than the same period last year.

Domestic deliveries formed the majority share while exports also moved upward during this period. This balanced contribution from both markets gives Toyota more stability compared to brands depending only on local demand.

Multiple Models Supporting Monthly Volumes

Toyota’s growth is not coming from one single product. Entry and mid-segment models such as Glanza and Rumion continue attracting practical buyers where as SUVs remain strong volume drivers.

Urban Cruiser Hyryder keeps drawing attention because of hybrid efficiency. Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross continue serving family and fleet customers while the Fortuner maintains steady demand in the premium SUV space. Having products across price levels helps Toyota maintain stable monthly dispatch numbers.

Electric Plans Slowly Taking Shape

Toyota is also preparing for its electric future in India. The upcoming Urban Cruiser Ebella is expected to become the brand’s first fully electric offering for the local market. Customer bookings have already started ahead of its official arrival. Which means, Toyota gradual moving towards electrification while continuing support for petrol and hybrid vehicles.

What This Growth Indicates

Toyota’s February results reflect controlled expansion rather than aggressive volume push. Domestic demand remains dependable while exports are improving at the same time.
