BYD India has rolled out the First Anniversary Edition of the Sealion 7, following strong sales of over 2,500 units since its debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Bookings for the special edition are now open with a booking amount of Rs. 70,000.

Variants and Pricing

The Sealion 7 continues to be available in two variants:

• Premium: Priced at Rs. 49.40 lakh (ex-showroom)

• Performance: Priced at Rs. 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom)

Exclusive Benefits for Early Buyers

This version offers special benefits for the first 1,100 customers, including a complimentary 11 kW home charger with installation, along with two years of free service and maintenance.

Enhanced Battery Technology and Warranty

The Low Voltage Battery (LVB) in the Sealion 7 now uses LFP technology and comes with an extended warranty of 8 years or 1,50,000 km.

Performance and Range

• Performance variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds

• Premium variant reaches 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds

Both variants use an 82.56 kWh battery pack. The claimed range (NEDC) is 542 km for the Performance variant and 567 km for the Premium variant.

Advanced Engineering and Features

The Sealion 7 is built on BYD’s Cell-to-Body (CTB) architecture with Blade Battery integration, improving structural rigidity and safety. It also includes Intelligence Torque Adaptation Control (iTAC) and Vehicle-to-Load (VTOL) functionality, allowing the SUV to power external devices.

Design and Interior Highlights

The model features a distinctive Tahiti Blue interior theme, while the exterior retains its ocean-inspired design created under Wolfgang Egger, with sleek lines and a clean stance. Inside, the cabin offers a premium experience with:

• 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system

• Quilted Nappa leather seats

• 128-color ambient lighting

• Panoramic glass roof

Additional features include a 12-speaker Dynaudio audio system, ventilated and heated seats, and 50 W wireless charging.
