The BE 6 Batman Edition introduced by Mahindra has received a huge response in the market, and the second batch of this special electric SUV has also sold out very quickly. The company made a total of 999 units available, and all of them were booked in just 7 minutes.

The quick sell-out reflects the huge demand for this special edition model, as many people immediately rushed to book their units when Mahindra reopened bookings for this new batch in March 2026.

How the booking happened

The booking window for this model began on March 10, 2026, at 11 am and was kept open for only one day.

Before the bookings began, customers were given the opportunity to register their interest on Mahindra’s official website starting from March 6.

The price of this limited edition model is Rs. 28.49 lakh (ex-showroom), but due to the limited number of units available, all the cars were booked within minutes of the booking window opening.

Where it was first shown

Mahindra first showcased this Batman Edition collaboration at the Freedom_NU event, where the company also displayed its future electric vehicle concepts and explained its newly developed NU_IQ platform.

How does the Batman Edition look

This special edition has been designed by Mahindra in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, and its design is inspired by the films “The Dark Knight Trilogy”. That is why this car looks darker and more stylish than the regular BE 6 model, while also featuring several cosmetic changes that highlight the Batman theme.

This edition is based on the fully loaded Pack Three variant of the BE 6 and uses the same 79 kWh battery pack.

Exterior look

This edition looks very special in terms of exterior design, featuring several distinctive elements such as:

• Satin Black paint with gold highlights

• Suspension components and brake calipers finished in Alchemy Gold

• 20-inch alloy wheels

• Batman graphics on the doors

• Special edition badges

These changes make this SUV look very different compared to the regular BE 6 model.

Interior look

The Batman theme continues inside the car as well, with the Bat emblem appearing on the seats and on some control elements, while the dashboard features a small Batman graphic on the passenger side.

The dashboard is finished in charcoal leather with gold accents around the driver’s area, and the seats are upholstered in suede and leather with gold stitching.

Gold highlights can also be seen in some smaller areas, including:

• Steering wheel trim

• Electronic parking brake

• Key fob

This edition also includes a few unique features that match the theme.

• A special start-up animation in the infotainment system

• A more dramatic sound profile for the external vehicle sound

About production

Initially, Mahindra planned to produce only 300 units of the Batman Edition SUV, but due to huge demand from customers, the company later increased production to 999 units.

The first batch of this model opened for bookings in August 2025, and even then all the units were sold out in just 135 seconds, which clearly shows how popular this special edition has become.
