Suzuki e-Access Rental Plan Launched in India, Try the EV Without Buying

Suzuki e-Access Electric Scooter Now Available on Rent in India Through Royal Brothers From 24 hours to 1 year

Suzuki launched the e-Access last month in the Indian market at Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The electric scooter delivers a maximum range of 95 km on a full charge. It emerged as one of the most expensive electric scooters in its segment at launch time. Suzuki rolled out upfront discounts and offers to attract buyer interest in the e-Access.

Now, the Japanese brand has partnered with Royal Brothers Rentals. This partnership brings flexible rental and subscription services for the electric scooter.

Flexible Rental And Subscription Options

Suzuki's strategic partnership with Royal Brothers Rentals makes the e-Access available with flexible rental options. Customers can rent the scooter for periods ranging from 24 hours to as long as 1 year. This approach caters to short-term users seeking temporary mobility solutions. It also serves individuals desiring longer-term mobility without the burden of ownership.

The rental and subscription model addresses diverse customer needs. People can experience the scooter before committing to a purchase.

Seven Key Cities Get Rental Services

Initially, the rental and subscription services will commence in 7 key cities. These cities include Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur and Gurugram. Royal Brothers Rentals will operate these services through their established rental network.

These rental plans help individuals experience the e-Access performance. Customers can evaluate the scooter before deciding to purchase it.

Manufacturing And Availability

Suzuki developed the e-Access locally at the brand's factory in Gurgaon, Haryana. Bookings for the electric scooter commenced on Jan 9, 2026 across the country. Customers can purchase the scooter through Flipkart e-commerce platform as well.

Market Competition

The e-Access directly rivals several competitors in the Indian market. It competes with Ather 450 Apex, TVS iQube ST and Ola S1 Pro+. These models represent the main competition in the electric scooter segment.

Sales Performance

Suzuki sold 230 units of the e-Access during the first month of its launch in January 2026. This sales figure indicates the market response to the new electric scooter.

Company Statement On Partnership

Deepak Mutreja, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., commented on the partnership. He said, "Mobility preferences are evolving, and customers today seek flexibility and real-world experience before making long-term commitments. Our collaboration with Royal Brothers Rentals introduces multiple formats for the Suzuki e-ACCESS, enabling customers to choose a tenure that aligns with their individual requirements – from 24-hour rentals to yearlong subscriptions. This initiative enhances accessibility while strengthening engagement with our electric offering."

Notable Features And Design

The e-Access comes equipped with several impressive features. An all-LED lighting setup provides visibility and safety. Dual-tone alloy wheels add visual appeal. A lightweight chassis with an aluminium battery case reduces overall weight. The scooter offers 17L underseat storage area for carrying belongings.
