Top 10 Scooters Feb 2026: Activa Dominates, Burgman Sees Huge Growth
Activa tops scooter sales in Feb 2026 as market records 651K units with strong growth across segments.
The scooter market delivered a strong performance in February 2026, with the top 10 models recording a combined 651,243 units. This is a significant jump from 457,898 units sold in February 2025, marking a growth of 193,345 units or 42.22 per cent YoY. The numbers clearly reflects that demand for scooters is rising sharply across segments.
Growth Seen Across Petrol and Electric Scooters
Both petrol and electric scooters contributed to this surge. Models like the TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak posted strong gains, while popular petrol scooters also saw steady demand.
The iQube recorded 38,054 units, rising from 23,581 units, which is a 61.38 per cent increase. The Bajaj Chetak followed with 28,004 units, up by 31.85 per cent compared to last year.
Sporty and Value Models See Big Gains
Several mid-range and sporty scooters reported strong growth. The TVS Ntorq sold 31,955 units, increasing by 52.22 per cent from last year. The Yamaha RayZR also grew well, reaching 22,593 units with a 61.26 per cent rise.
The Honda Dio stood at 28,227 units, showing a sharp 76.11 percent increase. Meanwhile, the Hero Destini nearly doubled its sales, jumping to 27,369 units with an 89.47 per cent growth.
The Suzuki Burgman recorded the highest growth among the top 10, with sales of 23,366 units, more than doubling from 10,978 units last year, reflecting a 112.84 per cent increase.
Activa Continues to Dominate the Market
The Honda Activa remained the clear leader in the scooter segment. It sold 254,449 units in February 2026, compared to 174,009 units last year, registering a strong 46.23 per cent growth.
Despite rising competition across segments, the Activa continues to dominate in terms of overall volume.
Jupiter and Access Hold Strong Positions
The TVS Jupiter secured second place with 127,089 units, growing by 22.70 percent from 103,576 units last year. The Suzuki Access followed in third place with 70,137 units, up by 18.80 per cent compared to 59,039 units. These models continue to maintain strong demand in the family scooter segment.
