2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift Launch: Expected Price, Engine, Features and Design

2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift Launch Expected Soon with Major Upgrades

Maruti Suzuki's popular Brezza compact SUV is expected to receive a major update. According to a CarDekho report, the 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift is likely to launch in July 2026, although the company has not officially confirmed the timeline. The updated SUV could get a new 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, a refreshed exterior, more features inside the cabin and improved safety equipment. These changes are expected to help the Brezza stay competitive against rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Tata Nexon.

New Engine Option for the 2026 Brezza Facelift

The updated Brezza could get a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which may either replace the current 1.5-litre petrol engine in some variants or be offered alongside it. If introduced, the new engine is expected to deliver quicker acceleration, better fuel efficiency and a smoother driving experience in both city traffic and on highways. The existing 1.5-litre petrol engine is also likely to continue with minor updates.

Exterior Design Changes for the 2026 Brezza

The facelift is expected to bring a few styling updates while keeping the SUV's familiar overall shape. It could get a redesigned front grille, updated LED headlamps with DRLs, new alloy wheel designs and revised front and rear bumpers. The rear tail lamps may also receive a new design, giving the SUV a fresher look without changing its overall identity.

Interior and Technology Upgrades

Inside, buyers can expect a more premium cabin with several new features. The updated Brezza is likely to get a larger touchscreen infotainment system, an updated digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with improved connected car features. Maruti Suzuki may also use better-quality materials inside the cabin and improve the overall fit and finish.

Updated Safety Features

Safety is also expected to receive an update. Higher variants could get additional airbags and improved structural safety. The SUV may also offer better parking assistance features, while Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) could be introduced in select variants.

Expected Price for the 2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift

The updated Brezza is expected to cost slightly more than the current model because of the new features, design updates and possible engine changes. The entry-level variants could be priced from around Rs 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top variants may cost between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). However, Maruti Suzuki has not officially announced the pricing.

Competition in the Compact SUV Segment

After its launch, the updated Brezza will continue to compete in India's compact SUV segment. Its main rivals are expected to include the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO.

What Buyers Should Know

The facelift is still expected, and Maruti Suzuki has not officially revealed its final specifications, launch date or pricing. Buyers planning to purchase a compact SUV may want to wait for the official announcement to compare the final engine options, features, safety equipment and prices before making a decision.
