TVS iQube Crosses 10 Lakh Production Milestone, Becomes India's Top-Selling Electric Scooter
TVS Motor Company has produced 10 lakh (one million) iQube electric scooters at its manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The milestone scooter was rolled out in the presence of K. N. Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO of TVS Motor Company, along with senior team members involved in the scooter's development. Launched in 2020, the iQube has become one of India's most popular family electric scooters and is currently the country's best-selling electric two-wheeler. The latest production milestone comes as electric scooters continue to become more common among Indian buyers.
Strong Growth Since Launch
The TVS iQube has grown steadily over the years and now sells more than 30,000 units every month on average. It is available in several variants with different battery options, giving buyers more choices based on their budget and daily travel needs. iQube was developed for Indian riding conditions and is offered with multiple battery capacities, different riding ranges and connected features across the lineup.
More Than 14.94 Billion Kilometres Covered

TVS also sold 3,67,501 iQube scooters in FY26, recording a 35 per cent year-on-year growth compared to 2,73,063 units in FY25.
Wide Sales And Service Network
As demand for the iQube has grown, TVS has also expanded its sales and service network across the country. The electric scooter is now supported by more than 3,300 sales and service touchpoints across over 3,000 cities.
The wider network has helped the company reach more customers, especially in smaller towns where easy access to sales and service is an important factor while buying an electric vehicle.
Focus On Electric Vehicle Technology
The production milestone also highlights TVS' growing focus on electric mobility. The company has invested in research and development, battery technology, software, connected features and manufacturing capacity as demand for electric two-wheelers continues to increase.
TVS currently operates four manufacturing facilities across India and Indonesia. It also sells its products in several international markets, while British motorcycle brand Norton Motorcycles is part of the TVS Group. According to TVS, the iQube has been designed, engineered and manufactured in India for global markets.
