Hero XPulse 421 Spied Testing Again Ahead Of Expected Launch

Hero XPulse 421 has been seen testing once again ahead of its expected debut

Hero MotoCorp's upcoming XPulse 421 has been spotted testing again in India, indicating that development work is continuing ahead of its expected launch. It will sit above the XPulse 210 and become Hero's most powerful adventure bike to date.

New 421cc Engine

The XPulse 421 is expected to use a new 421cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. While official specifications have not been revealed, reports suggest power output could be around 40 hp. The engine is likely to be paired with a six-speed gearbox, with higher variants potentially offering a quickshifter.

Chassis and Suspension

Spy images indicate that the motorcycle will feature long-travel suspension, including upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. Wire-spoke wheels with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear setup are also visible, suggesting a strong focus on off-road capability.

It appears larger than the XPulse 210 and features a tall windscreen, upright riding position and a substantial fuel tank. Reports also suggest the motorcycle could use a new steel trellis chassis.
