New Bajaj Adventure Bike Spotted Testing Again Ahead of 2027 Launch

Bajaj Testing New Adventure Bike in Pune: What We Know So Far

Bajaj is working on a new adventure motorcycle, and it has been spotted testing near Pune once again. This new bike is expected to launch in India by early 2027. Earlier this year, Bajaj Auto confirmed that it would start a new sub-brand just for adventure bikes. This first model, expected to be an entry-level adventure tourer, will compete with bikes like the Hero Xpulse 210, TVS Apache RTX 300, and Yezdi Adventure.

Built for Long Rides and Comfort

The new spy pictures show a bike that is built for long-distance travel and everyday use. It has a classic adventure look with a front "beak," a high handlebar, and a long, single-piece seat. In the photos, the bike also has a top box at the back, which shows that Bajaj is focusing on making it practical for carrying luggage. Even with the rear top box, there appears to be enough space for a passenger.

Unlike some extreme off-road bikes, this Bajaj adventure tourer seems designed to be comfortable on the road while still being able to handle some rough paths.

Engine and Performance

There is a lot of talk about what engine this bike will use. As per reports, it could be based on the KTM 250 Adventure’s engine. If that happens, it would have a 249cc liquid-cooled engine with more than 30 bhp of power and 25 Nm of torque. It would also come with a 6-speed gearbox.

However, some people also think it might use the engine from the Pulsar N250 because the two bikes were seen testing together before. It is also possible that Bajaj is building a completely new platform for this bike.

Wheels, Tires, and Suspension

The test bike was seen with wire-spoke wheels and tires that work on both roads and dirt. It will likely use a 19-inch wheel at the front and a 17-inch wheel at the back. This is a common setup for smaller adventure bikes in the 200cc to 300cc range.

For the suspension, the bike has telescopic forks at the front and a single shock absorber (monoshock) at the back. The rear part of the bike looks very sleek and has a modern LED tail lamp cluster.

Modern Features and Price

You can expect some premium features on this new Bajaj adventure bike, such as:

  • LED Lighting: All the lights, including the headlamp and indicators, will likely be LED.

  • Digital Screen: A digital dashboard that shows all your riding info.

  • Connectivity: Bluetooth to connect your phone for turn-by-turn navigation and alerts.

The price for this new adventure bike is expected to start around Rs 2 lakh, with the top model going up to Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
