Tata Motors Announces Price Hike Across EV And ICE Range From July 1, 2026

Tata Motors To Increase Car Prices By Up To 1.5% From July 1 Across EVs And ICE Models

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. has announced a price hike across its entire passenger vehicle lineup, including both ICE and EV models, from July 1, 2026. Prices will rise by up to 1.5 percent, with the exact increase depending on the model and variant.

Why Prices are Going Up

Tata Motors says that the cost of making cars has increased, with raw materials and logistics becoming more expensive. Inflation is also a reason for this decision. For a long time, Tata Motors paid for these extra costs itself, but the company has now decided to share some of that cost with buyers. This is the second time this year that the brand has changed its prices.

Cars Affected by the Hike

The new prices will apply to every passenger car that Tata Motors sells. If you are looking at petrol or diesel cars, the list includes:

  • Tiago and Tigor

  • Altroz and Punch

  • Nexon and Curvv

  • Harrier, Safari, and Sierra

The price hike also includes the electric vehicle (EV) lineup. These models are:

  • Tiago EV

  • Punch EV

  • Curvv EV

  • Nexon EV

  • Harrier EV

Tata Motors will reveal the exact price for each model and variant very soon. Even with these higher prices, the company wants to keep its cars a good value for buyers.

A Busy Year for Tata Motors

This price change happens while Tata Motors is launching many new products. Since the start of 2026, the company has been very active by launching the Sierra ICE, Harrier Petrol, and Safari Petrol. The brand has also updated the Punch, Tiago, and their electric versions. Later this month, Tata Motors plans to show the new Sierra EV, which will make its electric car range even stronger in India.

What Should Buyers Do?

If you want to buy a Tata car or SUV, you might want to act fast. Buyers still have a few weeks in June to purchase a vehicle at the current price. Once July 1 arrives, the new rates will go into effect. Those planning to buy a Tata vehicle may benefit from visiting a showroom before the prices go up.
