Maserati MCPura launched in India at Rs 4.12 crore
Maserati MCPura & Cielo Launch in India: Price, Specs, New Colour & Features
Maserati has launched the MCPura in India at Rs 4.12 crore for the coupe and Rs 5.12 crore for the Cielo convertible. Both use a 3.0 litre twin turbo V6 that makes 630 hp and 720 Nm and has a claimed 0 to 100 kmph time of 2.9 seconds for the coupe. The India cars match the global spec revealed in July at Goodwood and add a new AI Aqua Rainbow colour option that changes hue in sunlight while keeping the carbon fibre monocoque and butterfly doors intact. Maserati says the MCPura’s aero package is more aggressive than the MC20 and was fine tuned with Dallara, while the Cielo has a retractable glass roof and a glossy finish versus the coupe’s matte theme.
What’s new
- India pricing is Rs 4.12 crore for MCPura and Rs 5.12 crore for MCPura Cielo, ex showroom, with options extra, three months after global debut.
- Powertrain and performance remains same as global spec with Nettuno 3.0 litre V6, 8 speed dual clutch gearbox and 0 to 100 kmph claim of 2.9 seconds for the coupe.
- AI Aqua Rainbow exterior paint joins the palette and changes colour in the sun, while Cielo’s roof remains a retractable glass panel with switchable opacity.
Design and aero
Maserati and Dallara have revised the front bumper and aero surfaces to increase efficiency and stability at speed, while the butterfly doors and carbon monocoque remain central to the package. The coupe has a matte finish and the convertible has glossy accents, so each body style has a distinct look right out of the showroom. Maserati claims a kerb weight of about 1,500 kg for the coupe, which matches the monocoque’s lightweight focus and the 325 kmph top speed claim from related briefings.
Interior and features
Interior is similar to MC20, Alcantara seats with laser etching to create 3D pattern and contrasting trim finishes between coupe and Cielo. Cielo has the retractable glass roof as a signature feature, rest of the interface is same as existing MC platform owners and fans in India.

Editor’s notes
MCPura undercuts MC20 Cielo by Rs 19 lakh on comparable convertible pricing and is India spec same as global spec, so early allocations should move fast among collectors who want launch batch cars and bespoke colours. Dallara aero, Nettuno V6 and carbon monocoque keeps Maserati competitive with 911 Turbo and McLaren GT on theatre and performance, while new colour and coupe vs Cielo finishes will have showroom pull for 2025. Availability and build slots will decide real world wait times, so early buyers can lock in specs now as paint and trim choices may have longer lead times through the year end window.
