Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition Returns: One-Day Booking Window Opens March 10

Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition bookings reopen for one day. The limited electric SUV earlier sold out in 135 seconds.

Mahindra is giving buyers another chance to own its special BE 6 Batman Edition electric SUV. The limited edition model created huge buzz when it first arrived in India and sold out almost instantly. Many customers could not book one during the earlier sale. Because of that strong demand the company has decided to bring the model back for another short booking window.

Mahindra will reopen bookings for the BE 6 Batman Edition on March 10 at 11 AM, where as the booking window will stay open only for that single day, which means interested buyers will have a very short time to secure the SUV. Deliveries for this new batch are expected to start from April 10, 2026.

Buyers who are interested can already register their interest on Mahindra’s official electric SUV website from March 6 using the “Add Your Preference” option.

Earlier Batch Sold Out in Just 135 Seconds

The BE 6 Batman Edition first entered the Indian market in August 2025. Initially Mahindra planned to produce only 300 units of the special edition electric SUV. However the response from customers was far bigger than expected.

Due to the huge demand the company increased the allocation to 999 units. Even after increasing the production all the units were sold out in just 135 seconds. That extremely fast sell out made headlines across the Indian auto industry. Because many buyers missed the chance to secure one the company has now reopened bookings again.

The latest batch of the BE 6 Batman Edition carries a price of Rs 28.49 lakh ex showroom. When the model was first launched the starting price was Rs 27.79 lakh.

Special Collaboration With Warner Bros and DC

The BE 6 Batman Edition is not a regular cosmetic update. The SUV was developed through a collaboration with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products, which manages the DC entertainment brand.

The design inspiration comes from the Dark Knight Trilogy films directed by Christopher Nolan. Because of this theme the SUV carries several visual elements linked to the Batman character.

The special edition is based on the top Pack Three variant of the Mahindra BE 6, which already comes with the most advanced features available on the model.

Dark Knight Inspired Exterior Design

The exterior design of the BE 6 Batman Edition follows a dark and aggressive style. The SUV is finished in a Satin Black paint shade, which gives it a stealth like appearance on the road.

Batman themed decals appear on the front doors. The Bat emblem seen in the Dark Knight movies is placed across several areas of the vehicle which include the hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumper and the rear windshield.

A special “BE 6 × The Dark Knight” badge is placed at the rear which highlights the partnership behind this edition. The SUV rides on large 20 inch alloy wheels. To create contrast Mahindra has finished the suspension springs and brake calipers in Alchemy Gold colour.

Another highlight is the Infinity Roof, which carries the Dark Knight Bat emblem. When the doors are opened the Night Trail carpet lamps project the Batman logo on the ground. Mahindra has also added a Batman Edition signature sticker on the rear door cladding.

Cabin Gets Gold Accents and Batman Details

Inside the cabin the theme continues with a dark colour scheme and gold highlights. The dashboard features a Charcoal leather instrument panel, while a brushed gold halo surrounds the driver cockpit.

A Brushed Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaque sits on the dashboard which marks the special edition identity. The seats combine suede and leather upholstery with gold sepia stitching. Bat emblems appear on the seats as well as several interior labels.

Mahindra has also added gold finished elements on the steering wheel, In Touch controller, electronic parking brake and even the key fob. The passenger side dashboard includes a pinstripe graphic along with another Bat emblem. The door straps are designed with inspiration from race car handles and carry Batman Edition branding.

Special Animation and Custom Sound Effects

The BE 6 Batman Edition also adds a few digital touches to match its theme. When the vehicle starts the infotainment system shows a Batman themed welcome animation. Mahindra has also included custom exterior sound effects inspired by Batman, which means the electric SUV can produce themed sounds while driving. These additions help create a unique experience for owners compared with the regular BE 6.

Battery, Power and Driving Range

Mechanically the BE 6 Batman Edition remains identical to the standard BE 6 Pack Three variant. The electric SUV uses a 79 kWh battery pack. Power comes from a motor mounted on the rear axle which produces 286 hp and 380 Nm of torque. According to Mahindra the SUV can deliver a driving range of up to 682 km on a single charge, based on ARAI certified figures.

Priority Delivery for Referral Buyers

Mahindra has also introduced a small advantage for current Batman Edition owners. Customers who already own the model can refer new buyers. Bookings made through these referrals will receive priority delivery when the new batch begins shipping.

A Unique Electric SUV for Collectors and Fans

The BE 6 Batman Edition is clearly aimed at enthusiasts who want something different from a regular electric SUV. The design theme, limited availability and strong link with the Batman franchise make it attractive for collectors.

Since bookings will remain open for only one day the demand could again be extremely strong. If the earlier response is any indication this batch of the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition may also disappear very quickly once bookings begin.
