2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally Launched In India At Rs 32.40 Lakh

2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally debuts in India with a 170 hp V4 engine, radar-based rider aids, and a Skyhook suspension

Ducati India has rolled out the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally in the country, with prices starting at Rs 32.40 lakh ex-showroom. The adventure tourer will be offered in two colour options, Ducati Red and Jade Green. It has been on sale in global markets since 2023, and now arrives in India as a heavily equipped, long-distance-focused adventure tourer.

Built Around A MotoGP Derived Engine

The Multistrada V4 Rally is powered by a V4 engine that traces its roots back to Ducati's MotoGP programme, complete with a counter-rotating crankshaft. The motorcycle has been engineered with long-distance comfort in mind, which fits its positioning as an adventure tourer meant for covering serious distances.

Commenting on the launch, Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, said the Multistrada V4 Rally reflects Ducati's approach to adventure touring by bringing together advanced technology, strong performance and comfort suited for long rides in a single motorcycle. He added that India has seen a rising number of riders taking up adventure touring and exploring varied terrain across the country, and that Ducati is pleased to offer this capable machine to support that kind of riding.

Off-Road Ready Hardware

The 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally comes with a 30 litre fuel tank, giving it a useful range for long stretches without refuelling. To handle rougher terrain, the bike gets longer travel suspension, reinforced engine guards and spoked wheels.

These off-road oriented components are complemented by a new chassis, a new Automatic Lowering Device and the semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO, which adjusts damping electronically based on riding conditions.

Engine And Performance Details

At the core of the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally sits the 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine, which produces a maximum power output of 170 hp at 10,750 rpm along with peak torque of 123 Nm at 9,000 rpm.

The engine features an extended rear cylinder deactivation strategy, which keeps the rear cylinder bank switched off at standstill and during low rev situations to help save fuel. Gear changes are handled by the new Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 system, which works using only the angular position sensor on the gear shift drum, doing away with the need for additional sensors found in earlier setups.

Rider Aids And Technology

The electronics package is one of the biggest highlights of the Multistrada V4 Rally. The bike comes with radar based systems, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection, along with Forward Collision Warning. Other electronic aids include a tyre pressure monitoring system, ABS Electronic Combined Braking System, ABS Cornering, Ducati Wheelie Control and Ducati Cornering Lights.

A Coming Home function is also part of the package, along with a 6.5 inch colour TFT display. Riders can connect their smartphones to this display through the Ducati Connect app, which allows them to answer calls, play music and access map navigation while riding.

Design Changes Over The Standard Multistrada V4

Compared to the standard Multistrada V4, the Rally variant gets a windshield that is 40mm wider and 20mm taller, offering better wind protection on long highway stretches. The pannier mounts have also been redesigned to free up more legroom for the pillion rider.

Heated handgrips now come as standard equipment on this variant, and riders can adjust them across five temperature levels. The motorcycle also includes a centre stand as standard fitment. Underpinning the bike is a compact aluminium monocoque frame, paired with a double sided shell cast aluminium swingarm.

In India, the 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally rivals premium adventure tourers such as the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure, Triumph Tiger 1200 and Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports.
