TVS Crosses 10 Lakh Electric Scooter Sales In India, Last 1 Lakh Came In Just 75 Days

TVS Motor Company has reached a massive milestone in the electric scooter market, selling more than 10 lakh electric scooters in India. According to Vahan data from June 11, 2026, the total number of scooters delivered to customers reached 10,04,148 units. This success comes from their two popular models, the iQube and the Orbiter.

The Journey Of TVS iQube and Orbiter

TVS started selling electric scooters in January 2020 with the iQube. Since then, the iQube has become a very popular choice for many families. Today, it comes with different battery sizes, from 2.2 kWh to over 5 kWh and top models can travel more than 150 km on a single charge. It is packed with features like a touchscreen, navigation, voice assistant, fast charging, and OTA updates.

 It has also helped the company grow, It has a unique design and is more affordable, with a range of around 115 km. Recently, TVS added a new V1 trim and a "BaaS" scheme to make it even easier for people to buy these scooters.

Rapid Growth In Sales

What is truly amazing is how fast TVS reached this 10 lakh milestone.

•  First 1 Lakh: This took more than three years after the iQube was first made.

• Second 1 Lakh: This took only ten months.

• From 3 Lakh To 7 Lakh: TVS achieved this jump in just 17 months.

Between March 28 and June 10, 2026, TVS sold the last 1 lakh scooters in just 75 days! On average, they sold 1,333 scooters every single day during this time.

In late 2025, its sold 1 lakh scooters in just three months (October to December). This shows that more and more people are choosing TVS electric scooters every month.

Rising Market Share

TVS has seen its share of the electric scooter market grow very quickly.

• 2020: They had only 1% of the market.

• 2022: Their share grew to 8%.

• 2023: They crossed the 20% mark for the first time.

• 2025: This was a big year as they sold 3,15,083 scooters and became the market leader from April onwards.

So far in 2026, TVS has already sold 2,19,232 electric scooters. This is about 70% of what they sold in the entire year of 2025. Last month was their best month ever, with 51,605 scooters sold.
