Revolt RVX Electric Motorcycle Launched In India At Rs 1.24 Lakh, 160 Km Range
Revolt RVX arrives with a 160 km range, 3.24 kWh battery and Rs 1.24 lakh introductory price
Revolt Motors has launched the RVX electric motorcycle in India at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 1.24 lakh, inclusive of applicable PM E-DRIVE incentives, which is available for a limited period. Buyers in Delhi stand to benefit further from the recently announced Delhi EV Policy 2026, which brings the effective ex-showroom price down to Rs 94,990 in the national capital. The RVX is now available at authorised Revolt dealerships across the country. The RVX is available in three colour options: Pearl Black, Electric Blue and Eclipse Red.
Battery, Range And Charging
The RVX runs on a 3.24 kWh removable NMC battery pack that delivers a claimed range of 160 km on a single charge. Using the fast charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 80 minutes. The battery powers a new 4 kW mid-drive PMSM motor.
Performance Figures
The RVX produces a peak power of 7.1 bhp and 230 Nm of wheel torque, which Revolt Motors says makes it the most powerful motorcycle the brand has built to date. In Boost Mode, the bike accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 90 kmph.
Features And Electronics
The RVX comes with USD front forks and a rear monoshock suspension setup. Riders get four ride modes: Boost, Sports, City and Eco. Hill Hold Assist, Reverse Mode, Walk Assist, an immobiliser and a vehicle locator are also part of the standard package.
The 3.5-inch digital instrument console supports Bluetooth connectivity, telematics, geo-fencing, over-the-air updates, and call and message notifications.
Rivals In The Segment
The Revolt RVX will compete with the Oben Rorr Evo and the Ola Roadster X in the Indian electric motorcycle segment.
What Revolt Said At The Launch
Mrs. Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited, said at the launch that India's new generation is ambitious, expressive and optimistic about the future, and wants technology that excites and inspires rather than simply solving problems. She added that the RVX brings together Indian engineering and purposeful innovation, reflecting the brand's belief that sustainable mobility can also be engaging to ride.
On the sidelines of the launch, Revolt Motors also unveiled a new brand campaign called 'India Karega Revolt', featuring brand ambassador and cricketer Hardik Pandya.
A Few Things Buyers Should Keep In Mind
The introductory price of Rs 1.24 lakh includes the PM E-DRIVE incentive, which is currently scheduled to remain in effect until July 31, 2026. Unless the scheme is extended, buyers booking after that date could end up paying more. The Delhi-specific price of Rs 94,990 also factors in benefits under the Delhi EV Policy 2026, which comes with its own eligibility criteria and incentive limits. It is worth checking the latest subsidy status before making a purchase decision.
The RVX also enters a highly competitive segment. The Oben Rorr Evo is currently available at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 for the first 10,000 customers and claims a range of 180 km, along with a quicker 0–40 kmph time of 3.3 seconds. The RVX counters with a mid-drive motor, which can offer better weight distribution and a more natural riding feel, but buyers comparing the two should look beyond the headline specifications to see which package better suits their needs.
One more detail worth checking is the braking setup. The Ola Roadster X, priced between Rs 99,999 and Rs 1.04 lakh, comes with single-channel ABS as standard. Revolt has not highlighted ABS in the RVX's official feature list, so buyers should confirm the exact braking specification with their nearest dealership before booking.
