Mahindra June 2026 Sales Rise 37% As SUV Volumes Cross 60,000 Units
Mahindra sold 1,06,207 vehicles in June 2026, up 37%, with SUV sales crossing 60,000 units.
Mahindra and Mahindra posted total vehicle sales of 1,06,207 units in June 2026, marking a 37% year-on-year increase over the 77,513 units it recorded in the same month last year. The total includes SUVs, commercial vehicles, three-wheelers and exports, with every segment posting year-on-year growth compared to June 2025.
SUV Sales Lead The Charge
Utility vehicles remained the single largest contributor to Mahindra's monthly numbers. The company sold 60,393 SUVs in the domestic market during June 2026, up from 47,306 units in June 2025, which works out to a 28% year-on-year increase. When exports are factored in, total utility vehicle volumes for the month reached 61,504 units.
Looking at the broader April to June FY27 period, Mahindra's domestic UV sales came in at 1,74,745 units, compared to 1,52,067 units during the same quarter last year. That reflects a 15% year-to-date gain. Sales from Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited are included within the UV tally for this period.
Commercial Vehicle Numbers Move Higher
The light commercial vehicle segment also had a solid month for Mahindra. Domestic LCV sales in the below 3.5-tonne category reached 26,076 units in June 2026, up 35 percent from the 19,348 units posted in the same month of the previous year.
Within this total, the below 2-tonne LCV category accounted for 3,508 units, while the 2-tonne to 3.5-tonne category recorded 22,568 units during the month.
Three-Wheeler Segment Posts Strong Jump
Three-wheeler sales, including electric three-wheelers, reached 13,820 units in June 2026. This was 63 percent higher than the 8,454 units Mahindra sold in June 2025, making it Mahindra's second-fastest growing segment after exports.
For the April to June FY27 quarter as a whole, three-wheeler volumes reached 36,255 units, compared to 20,559 units during the same period a year ago.
Exports Record The Largest Percentage Gain
Among all the segments, exports saw the most significant jump in June 2026. Mahindra shipped 5,918 units overseas during the month, against 2,634 units in June 2025, translating to a 125 percent year-on-year increase.
Cumulative exports for FY27 so far stood at 15,888 units, up 64 percent from 9,661 units recorded during the same period in FY26.

What Comes Next For Mahindra
Mahindra is expected to expand both its ICE and electric vehicle portfolio over the coming months, with several new launches and updates planned across multiple segments. The strong June performance provides positive momentum as the company heads into the rest of FY27.
Looking Beyond The Headline Numbers
One of the standout numbers in Mahindra's June sales report is the 63 percent growth in the three-wheeler segment. Most of these sales come from Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, the company's electric commercial vehicle business, which has built a strong presence in India's electric three-wheeler market. If this momentum continues, Mahindra could be on track for another strong year in this segment, driven by growing demand from e-commerce, delivery services and urban transport.
The SUV performance also deserves attention. In May 2026, Mahindra had said that manpower shortages at some supplier facilities were affecting production and limiting dispatches. Domestic SUV sales grew 11 percent in May, but that improved to 28 percent in June. While the company has not confirmed whether those supply issues have been fully resolved, the stronger June performance suggests production may have improved.
The June numbers also show that Mahindra has maintained its momentum after finishing FY26 as India's second-largest passenger vehicle maker. Keeping SUV production strong will be important as competition continues to intensify across the passenger vehicle market.
