Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella Expected Prices, Battery, Range, Features & More Explained

After Maruti Suzuki announced the prices for its e Vitara, its sibling car, Toyota will soon share the prices for the Urban Cruiser Ebella in India. This SUV will offer two choices for its power system, both using lithium-iron-phosphate battery packs connected to motors on the front axle. The smaller 49 kWh setup creates 142 bhp, while the larger 61 kWh unit increases the power to 171.5 bhp and also provides 189 Nm of torque.

Charging and Interior Features

Both battery options will support regular AC charging and fast CCS2 DC charging. Inside, this five-seater car features a 10.25-inch screen for the driver next to a 10.1-inch touchscreen for entertainment, which allows you to connect your smartphone wirelessly. Higher-end models will include more luxurious items such as ventilated front seats, soft ambient lighting, a wide panoramic glass roof, wireless charging, and a high-quality JBL sound system.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella uses the Heartect-e architecture, which Suzuki Motor Corporation helped develop. This special electric platform is built to easily fit different battery sizes and share electronic systems. Suzuki Motor Corporation's factory in Gujarat, which also produces the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, handles the mass production of this vehicle.

Standard safety features include seven airbags, electronic stability control, and a stronger car body. The top-level E3 model also adds advanced driver-assistance features like adaptive cruise control, technology to keep you in your lane, automatic braking to prevent crashes, alerts for blind spots, detection of traffic when backing up, and a 360-degree camera system.
